Engage Awards

engage in their future exists as an organisation for, and of, specialist leaders in SEMH, working across all educational environments and with all ages, sharing support, experience and best practice advice with colleagues in educational leadership and managements positions, and their school community.

It provides advocacy for those West challenging behaviour and those working them, and continually works to help improve the education and welfare of pupils. By providing a collective voice for its members, engage in their future will inform and influence the national debate on SEMH issues.

West Kirby School and College work in close partnership with engage and enjoy participating in their National and Creative Awards each year. We support pupils and class groups to enter and we're proud every year our young people gain winning places and the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony.

2020 engage in their future awards

In these unprecedented times, our connections have never been so important so the theme of “Connections” proved to be very topical and seemed to really resonate with everyone that took part. This led to some incredible creativity, thought and effort across all the categories. Our congratulations to everyone that took part.

Each of the three creative categories have their own judging panel who will be looking for originality, adherence to the theme, and creative techniques.

Our winners will all receive a certificate and trophy. Usually there is an awards ceremony our pupils are invited to attend to receive their awards. We're waiting to find out how this is being done - maybe a virtual ceremony this year!

Well done to all our pupils, we're very proud of you
