Remembrance Day at West Kirby School & College

Our school community came together to mark Remembrance Day with a thoughtful and respectful ceremony. The service was led by members of staff who are ex–armed forces, and included a reading from Mr Maghill, followed by a one-minute silence.

Pupils Cooper and Noah joined staff in laying wreaths at our school memorial, honouring those who served and sacrificed.

Earlier in the day, our Primary pupils visited the West Kirby cenotaph, where they laid their carefully decorated memorial pebbles—creative reflections they had worked on in class to show their understanding and respect for the occasion.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity and respect shown by pupils across the school during this important moment of remembrance.
