Throughout this week our pupils throughout the school got involved in 'Enterprise Week'. Each class developed their own products and services, working together to organise design, production and promotion including posters and websites.

The atmosphere was brilliant, pupils showed real creativity, teamwork and competition! Enterprise projects include sausage rolls, fudge, fresh lemonade, candles, pebble art, bath fizzers, hama bead coasters and covers, badges, keyrings, bug houses, bird feeders, bottle lights, and even a shoe shine service!
Some classes have made their own website in ICT:
Wonkey Donkey - Class LM - https://sites.google.com/wkrs.co.uk/westkirbyschoolwonkeydonkey/home
Pebble art - Class EC - https://sites.google.com/wkrs.co.uk/ec-enterprise-2019/home
The aim of the week is to develop life skills, entrepreneurship and teamwork, alongside vocational arts, craft, catering, ICT and DT skills, preparing our pupils for real life beyond school.
The week finished with a market where all classes had their own stall. We welcomed families and community to come along. The atmosphere was bustling and the stalls were sold out!
