Celebrate Refugee Week

This week is 'Refugee Week' and we are celebrating it as a school. Refugee Week is the UK's largest festival celebrating the contribution of refugees and promoting understanding of why people seek sanctuary.

We will be talking with pupils, on an appropriate level, about this. Mrs Clemenson has prepared our Wednesday assembly and teachers will be discussing this with pupils. This can be found below.

Ian Downing from Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool has also sent us a special video message teachers will be sharing. He visited us last year and was pleased to be involved again. We really appreciate the time and effort he took to send us this. https://www.asylumlink.org.uk/

Lots of interesting information and activities can be found here https://refugeeweek.org.uk/ and short films/videos aimed at children and young people

Thank you Mrs Clemenson!
