Giant mural tribute for Mike Jones, staff member

Staff member and New Brighton RNLI volunteer crew member Mike Jones has been recognised for his 40 years service with the RNLI in the form of a giant mural

We're really proud of our long standing staff member Mike Jones who has had this fantastic and fitting tribute made by RNLI New Brighton. Commissioned by Rockpoint Leisure, local re-development company and created by artist Smug One.

Ian Thornton, Lifeboat Operations Manager, New Brighton Lifeboat said;

‘This is a fantastic and fitting tribute to an amazing person who has volunteered for forty years with the RNLI. Due to the location of the mural, Mike will always be looking out to sea to keep an eye on what’s going on’
