Power for Good: How Our pupils marked Anti-Bullying Week
At West Kirby School & College, Anti-Bullying Week is an opportunity to celebrate kindness, raise awareness, and empower student voices. This year’s theme, “Power for Good”, encouraged everyone to reflect on how small actions can make a big difference.
The week began with an engaging and thought-provoking video from Mr Brown. Pupils then took part in class discussions, assemblies, and creative projects exploring what bullying is, how to report it, and how to support others.
Mr Brown, Pastoral Care Team:
"It's been a great week, the pupils have been really engaged with the 'Power for Good' theme. The videos have been well received and have engaged the pupils to discuss the theme."

Visit from Merseyside Police
Constable Laura Currie, from Community Engagement at Merseyside Police, joined us for the day. She spoke with pupils across all Key Stages about anti-bullying, online safety, and police work, and answered questions about careers. Pupils especially enjoyed trying on the uniform and exploring police equipment.
Constable Currie presented our KS3 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors with their badges, praising their important work:
“It was great to spend time with your wonderful team as WKS and to engage with all the students. I had a fabulous time. Thanks for making me feel so welcome as always.”
