Creative Conservation Day

2nd April 2018

Creative Conservation Day

Pupils had a thought provoking enjoyable time for our first Creative Conservation Day, organised by our Arts Lead Mrs Davies. Our young people thought about single use plastics, recycling,  nature, wildlife conservation and  environmental world topics.

Pupils had a choice of workshops for the day, from Chester Zoo, litter picking beach walk, making bug houses, film, Art, Drama, Science and Food Tech. As part of our Arts & Culture programme, Chester  Zoo led art related Conservation workshops covering illegal trade and endangered species.

A share session at the end brought together everyone’s activities and findings.
