This year we yet again celebrated World Book Day at West Kirby School. Pupils and staff alike dressed as their favourite book character. We welcomed Author Illustrator Martin Chatterton, with pupils in different years groups joining him for interactive illustrative sessions and an insight into the world of becoming an author. 

In the afternoon we had our school World Book Day Quiz in the hall, with quiz master Mr Hayes. We saw a very competitive quiz, but the winning team Mr Dowds class!
