    Vice-Principal

I have been Vice-Principal at WKS for over 4 years and previously served as Head of Behaviour, Assistant head and Art Teacher back to when I started here in 2001. Over the years some things have changed including pupils, staff, buildings and partnerships; an ever changing, growing organisation striving to find ways to best meet the needs of our young people. However, one thing has remained the same, our ethos.

We have recently seen an incredible amount of change, none more so than with the change of school Principal from Gareth Williams to Iain Sim, but the ethos remains and our core values are at the heart of everything we do. We have been an example of good practice throughout the years and strive to remain ahead of the game and at the pinnacle of our potential. However, we believe that Outstanding is not a pinnacle, it’s a threshold, and so by employing and nurturing a dedicated team of staff to be the best they can be, in turn, the impact on education; academically, socially and emotionally will continue and provide the best outcomes for all pupils.
