PE and Sport Premium

The Government give the opportunity for PE funding to all schools with primary age pupils in order to improve the quality of sport and PE for all pupils. Each school with less than 17 primary age pupils can  receive £500 per pupil.

The aim of the funding is to:-

  1. Engage all pupils in regular physical activity
  2. Raise the profile of PE and sport
  3. Increase confidence, knowledge and skills of those delivering PE and sport
  4. Broaden the range of sports and activities offered to pupils
  5. Increase participation in competitive sport
