Mrs K Swift

Karen's career has mainly been in administration management.  She spent several years working in the NHS, the last 13 years as Practice Manager of a GP Surgery. 

Karen has attended many courses around Autism, ADHD and PDA and try to stay up to date with changes to provision and support for children on the spectrum. She helps run a local parent support group and was the parent representative on the ASD strategy group for NHS Western Cheshire, which worked on the autism diagnostic care pathway.  

Karen currently works as a volunteer at the local food bank as administrator for finance.

As a parent Governor, Karen wants to have input around progress and improvement for all children within the school as well as supporting the Head and his staff.  She endeavors to develop new skills and to use existing ones, ask questions and make suggestions.  She is committed to contributing to WKRS.
