AET schools programme Training

West Kirby School and College are an accredited Autism Education Trust training hub for the Schools programme, supported by Department for Education. The modular programme offers face to face training for professionals working across all education settings for school aged pupils aged 5-16.

Our trainers are staff members, Nicky Tolley and Louise Gilmartin, with expertise in working with and supporting young people on the Autism Spectrum, along with supporting staff internally with practical strategies. Nicky Tolley has delivered well received talks at The Autism Show and will be presenting at the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in March 2018.

AET training uses a range of teaching tools including video, case studies, problem-solving scenarios, presentations, practical resources and activities. Read more about the different modules here AET Training module information or download the AET Modular Training Programme leaflet
