Residential UnitsSenior Resident Boys' Unit
The Senior Resident Boys group is a unit
that accommodates up to a maximum of 8 young people in years 10, 11 and Post
16. Our unit creates the opportunities for the young people to develop and
build their social, domestic, and independent skills. The young people are
encouraged to interact positively and to take responsibility for their own
behaviour and environment.
Emphasis is placed on individuals to show consideration and maturity, in
order for them to gain further personal and social skills, with a view to
moving towards independent living.
An environment of mutual trust, respect, tolerance and understanding of
others is consistently encouraged. This leads to a young person improving
their self-confidence and self-esteem.
