Pupils' Work
Departments at West Kirby Residential School
This modem well-equipped school building incorporates
twelve classrooms. There are seventeen full-time Teachers, including a
Head
of Education. All twelve class-groups have additional assistants in the
classroom. All teachers are fully qualified; the majority having
additional qualifications in special education.
A three-term year is in operation; the school day is from 9.00am to
3.3Opm. There are six 40-minute periods and a l0-minute tutorial period
each day. Homework is set for all pupils most evenings.
All Departments work closely together to ensure the smooth delivery of
the curriculum and vocational therapy to all pupils.
Some of our Departments will include examples of course work. More
development of our Department pages is planned.
